Plan curved stress ribbon and flat arch

Function of a bridge structure of span 45.00 m that is formed by a plan curved stress ribbon and flat arch was verified on a model built in the scale 1:8. The stress ribbon and flat arch were formed by a steel pipe and concrete deck, both structures were post-tensioned by external cables situated in the handrail. The model was tested for several positions of the live load, at the end it was verified for an ultimate load.
