Pedestrian Bridge across the Elbe River, Nymburk (2018)

The bridge structure is formed by two flat, outward inclined arches on which a stress ribbon deck is suspended. The bridge forms a self-anchored structural system in which a substantial part of the arch force is resisted by a prestressed concrete deck anchored at the end abutments. The arch footings are connected with the end abutments by concrete struts. The arches’ span length is 102 m, their rise is 10.0 m. The width between the railings is 4.0 m.

In the architectural competition, SHP design was awarded by the first prize and design was selected for construction. Now a bridge project is being processed.
