Tyrs’s Bridge across the Becva River in Prerov (2004)

The bridge is formed by a curved in plan box girder with a span of 77 m that is suspended on one side on an inclined arch. The girder acting as a tie was post-tensioned by external cables that reduce the torsion of the deck.

The design won first prize, however, its construction is being obstructed by ecologists, who believe the bridge prevents birds from passing over.
