The most important company asset is our staff of 65 experienced personnel. Our senior designers are registered engineers in the Czech and Slovak Republics and in several states of the USA. They have worked with the engineering firms of T.Y. Lin International, San Francisco, California; Charles M. Redfield, Mill Valley, California; CH2M HILL, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; CH2M HILL, Redding, California; OBEC, Eugene, Oregon; Kjessler & Mannerstrale AB, Stockholm, Sweden; and Jacobson & Widmark, Stockholm, Sweden. At present, they are continuing their consulting work both in the USA and in Sweden.
The engineering staff at SHP have practical experience in the design and construction of steel and concrete structures with all static systems built in the Czech and Slovak Republics, Western Europe, North America and Asia.
Even during the socialist period, the founders of the firm designed elegant and innovative structures that won international awards and recognition.
Dr. Strasky, Professor of Civil Engineering, has been invited to deliver lectures on bridges at various universities around the world. At present, he is the Head of the Department of Concrete and Masonry Structures, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology. He teaches two courses: ‘Special Structures’ and ‘’Concrete Bridges’.
A newly established division of technical specialists provides clients with an independent review of designs for bridges and civil engineering structures and the construction engineering of concrete and steel structures.
