Design

The bridge structure is formed by a stress ribbon deck that is suspended on inclined arches. The deck has a variable width from 6.5 m to 10.0 m; its depth is 0.40 m. The arch span is 55.2 m. Since the arch springs are connected with deck’s end diaphragms by a compression struts, the structure form a self anchored system that stresses the footings only by vertical forces.
