San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge, California, USA

Completed in 2013

The bridge, with a total length of 3 km and width of 2x25 m, is formed in two parts: a signature structure and by a skyway structure. The signature bridge is formed by a steel self-anchored suspension structure with a maximum span length of 385 m; the skyway structure is formed by a multiple span concrete structure with a typical span length of 160 m. The skyway structure is assembled of precast segments.
